Lu-Mi Ernst Busch–Based Violone In G (1640 Model) – Renaissance Bass Violin

Description

This Lu-Mi violone in G is modeled after a 1640 original by Ernst Busch. The short string length makes this instrument ideal for rapid passages. The corpus is too small to play in low D tuning.

This violone features a high-quality, fine-grain wood with a thick, glossy finish and ornate decorative purfling on the belly, back and edges of the instrument. The fingerboard and tailpiece will either have an ebony veneer, a burled maple veneer, or an ebony veneer with a maple border. Pegs are also of ebony.

For an extra charge, the pegbox can be carved with a decorative inlay.

This instrument is sold with a soft case.
