Description
This Lu-Mi Baroque violin is modelled after a 1679 original by Austrian luthier Jacobus Stainer (1619-1683). Stainer models are among the earliest and finest violins, and his instruments were sought after by many 17th and 18th century masters such as Bach, Mozart and Simon-Lohein. Lu-Mi’s rendition is a fine, bright instrument that is ideal for early music. It is not well-suited for modern playing, but the high arching generates rich overtones that make it ideal for Baroque music.
This instrument is sold in a hard case and is also available with an antique stain finish.
